- Peru Visa Requirements
Entry Requirements for Peru are actually quite simple. Typically our luxury Peru tours start in Jorge Chavez International airport in Lima, where upon arrival you can apply for a standard tourist visa. There is no charge to enter Peru, and visas are typically issued for 60 to 90 days. If you are travelling on an extended trip, perhaps taking one of our Language Tours in Peru, then you can request up to 6 months.
You will be issued with an Andean Immigration card (or paper) that you must keep in a safe place as you will be required to show this at check for all hotels, and on your departure from Peru. Should you lose the card, a standard fine is imposed.
- Peru Entry Requirements
There are no restrictions on entry, however you may be requested to show proof that you plan to leave the county. Therefore it is best to have your return ticket handy when processing through immigration.
